If you living on planet earth you have either:

-Personally commuted using Uber or Lyft (or)

-Know someone who works for them

With that said, these apps can become a convenient way to go out on a date or just be mobile. During surge prices that 'convenience' can burn a hole in your wallet as charges become inflated.
